Hyperbole and a Half is a blog run by Allie Brosh. She writes about things that have happened to her, and illustrates them using paint (the computer programme, not the material).

One of her most significant posts was about her experience with depression. Its been seen as one of the most relatable representations of depression, and I really have to agree. I remember thinking that when I first saw it a few years ago and after re reading it just now  its still incredibly accurate.

The childish way that the illustrations are drawn really works with the story. Brosh has said that what she writes can sometimes be exaggerated, and the caricature-esque way she draws herself and the other characters is supportive of this.
